Peter Davidson's Plein Air landscape oil paintings are all painted from life outdoors, on location. According to one critic, "They really make you feel the atmosphere and light that are present during each painting's creation".
These classical oil paintings created in the Plein Air tradition, with a nod to impressionism, reflect the artist's spiritual respect for nature and his love of the outdoors. It gives evidence to his lifelong study of light and its effect upon visual composition. This is a theme that has flowed throughout his design career in feature film, theater and opera set design, and art direction.

We invite you to explore the world through the artist's eyes as only he can express it.
